Human Resources Generalist

Nova Post is a delivery company that for 22 years has been helping Ukrainians to quickly send and receive parcels and cargo. Every year the company delivers over 315 million parcels both within Ukraine and worldwide. In order to expedite the delivery of cargo from other countries, the company set up its own airline company, Supernova.
Nova Post started developing business abroad as early as 2014, entering the Moldovan market. Currently, Nova Post is the fastest postal operator in Moldova with a developed network of 19 branches and 200 post lockers throughout the country.
In October 2022 we entered the European market and Poland became the first European country to welcome Nova Post branches. There are now 21 branches operating in the largest Polish cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Lublin, Gdansk, Rzeszów, Poznań, Lodz, Katowice and 10 more will be opened till the end of March 2023.
On March 20th 2023 Nova Post entered the Lithuanian market by opening its first cargo branch in Vilnius.
On May 3th 2023 Nova Post entered the German and Czech markets by opening first branches in Berlin and Prague.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Country labour laws: Familiarity with Country labour laws and regulations is essential for an HR Generalist of a country. They should have a solid understanding of employment contracts, working time regulations, termination procedures, and other relevant labour legislation.

Experience in HR: Prior experience in human resources is required. This can include experience in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR administration.

Recruitment and onboarding: HR Generalist involves in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new employees. Experience in talent acquisition and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is beneficial.

Employee relations and labour relations: HR Generalist is responsible for managing employee relations and maintaining a positive work environment. They should have good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts effectively. Familiarity with Country works council structures and collective bargaining agreements is advantageous.

HR policies and procedures: HR Generalist is involved in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures. They should have knowledge of best practices in areas such as performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Language proficiency: Strong communication skills in Country language are essential and Ukrainian or russian (internal communication is prefered by one of these two).

Organisational and analytical skills: HR Generalist should possess strong organisational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work effectively, and analyse HR data and metrics to support decision-making.

Cultural sensitivity: HR Generalist should be culturally sensitive and able to work effectively with employees from different backgrounds.
