We are looking for a senior Scala/Java engineer to join our core backend team. This team develops and operates a super high scale (over 1.5M incoming requests per second, trillions of outgoing transactions a day, petabytes of data produced each month) ad exchange system that connects supply and demand, optimizes ad prices, and allows game and app developers to scale their user base through ads.

We are currently in the process of moving this massive system from AWS to GCP while accelerating our product roadmap, presenting many interesting challenges to all engineers. Anyone joining can expect to gain a lot of experience in developing, deploying, monitoring and optimizing elastic distributed systems in the cloud

Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Java/Scala
Experience with functional programming languages - big advantage
Experience with Kubernetes
Cloud infrastructure knowledge (preferably AWS, GCP is also OK)
Experience with Kafka - big advantage
Experience with MySQL - big advantage
Experience with Akka or other distributed framework - big advantage
